I still say once you get in done with quarantine out of the big pond into the tubs put them in your wreck pond and let them swim around so that they can go deep and the water's cleaner there you know that for a fact If that water is much cleaner I mean the only other place you could I would say put them with put them in slakies enclosure but I don't know if he'd bother them or try and eat them or what cause he didn't do too well with that one elongated did you put in there and he was bigger than these guys so put him in the wreck pond I don't know if they like escape from there but were they going to go on the property you know I mean they're going to stay where the water is right maybe hide out of the water but they're not going to go far are they or can they I don't know it's up to you to decide what's the best place for them someplace where there's clean flowing water where they cannot escape I don't know if it's your front yard stream but the backyard Sophia's pond or Sophia's stream that might be a good area if it's fenced in and they cannot get out but it'll give them the area they need to get fresh water to swim in not all turtles are made to go into a pond

The water maybe too low an hot causing it to stagnate I'm not sure but when I had turtles in a pond an that tended to happen so I had to get hoses attached to hoses to help fill the pond on very dry hot weeks with no rain but some people I heard by nice huge outdoor pumps to jeep the oxygen an water moving giving better water quality.

A wetland filter on that pond would be cool

I picked up a 7" long baby water moccasin out of a pile of mulch near a swampy area and it just slithered around my fingers, very friendly. I thought it was a kingsnake but it had a musky odor to it. I asked a co-worker what kind of snake it was and he calmly said "I believe your holding a water moccasin- you might want to put it back on the ground." Thankfully it wasn't aggressive at all- but I wouldn't recommend it! ❤️🙏

Sometimes to natural isn't the way to go. Overflowing a pond not having another water source for them to go to if they are overcrowded. The waste dumping sure natural looks great to some but also keeping what you can handle what one person can handle is always best

We use a blue food dye (specifically for fishing lakes) to prevent algal blooms here in the UK. Perhaps something to look into 😊

Is it possible to have the pond guy to put a pump in the pond and run the water through some kind of natural filter? I have seen something like this done but it is just an idea I hope all goes well for you.

This could be caused through lack of oxygen in the water.i would suggest if you can add a waterfall or something similar to keep the water moving and airated. Best wishes mate.

I’ve worked around retention ponds in northern Florida and there was 3 of them that all of the animals in the ponds died and we had people come out and couldn’t figure out what was causing it. I spent a week netting dead animals out of the ponds. They said all the levels in the water were better than they’ve ever been in the past years.

These lizards will eat alot of different things; my dad used to feed one living in our garage dried cranberries and I’ve gotten them to eat popcorn, watermelon, and small bits of other foods since they’re omnivorous.

Common sense man. You got to change water every once in a while and drain ponds and re fill them. Especially during hot times when all the clean water has dried up. You can clearly see that water is horrible.

Been commenting for a long time its not very smart to put those little turtles or any really with such big snappers that little guy almost died look at how mangled it is man not ok. Put snappers in a tub till u have a new pond

Hopefully he'll be blessed with loving caretakers for the rest of his long life. I'd like for him to reach 200 years of age.
